“And if travel is like love, it is, in the end, mostly because it’s a heightened state of awareness, in which we are mindful, receptive, undimmed by familiarity and ready to be transformed.” — Pico Iyer
Above is a portfolio from some of the most incredible places I have ever been witness to, from the Salar de Uyuni in Southern Bolivia, to Death Valley in California, to Bagan in Burma, and Machhu Picchu in Peru, I truly believe that traveling is a portal to opening up our minds and hearts. I have learned so much about the world and myself through my incredible journeys. Locations include: Peru, Nepal, Burma, Bolivia, Texas, California, Chile, Cambodia, Ireland, Morocco, & Italy.
The images in this selection are from my archives and were shot on my Pentax 67 medium format film camera, a few were shot with my Canon AE1 on 35mm film and a couple were photographed digitally with a Nikon D300. I truly hope they inspire you to buy that ticket you have been dreaming of and go on your own adventure!
